Travel has always been part of my life. I worked in the industry for years, seeing both the joy it brings and the barriers many families face. My dad, John, loved exploring the world, and after his passing I felt a strong desire to honour his passion for discovery by helping others experience it too.
Closer to home, raising my son Kieran, who is autistic, gave me a personal understanding of how important accessibility, sensory awareness, and thoughtful planning are for families. I saw firsthand how challenging it can be to find holidays that truly meet diverse needs—and how transformative it is when those needs are respected and supported.
That’s why I created KJA Travel. The name itself carries my heart: KJA stands for Kieran, John, and Amanda—my son, my dad, and me. It represents the family roots, lived experiences and love of travel that shaped this agency.
KJA Travel is built on empathy, inclusivity, and operational excellence. My mission is to make travel accessible, enriching, and stress‑free for everyone—whether you’re a family, a corporate team, or a luxury traveller. For me, travel isn’t just about destinations; it’s about creating journeys where every person feels seen, supported, and excited.
